Omar Ndow’s case suffers setback

The criminal case against Omar Ndow, a former Managing Director of Gamtel, was on Wednesday, September 17, 2007, adjourned to October 5, 2007 by Magistrate BY Camara of the Banjul Magistrates’ Court.

Appearing before the court, Police Prosecutor, Inspector Touray who held brief for ASP Bojang informed the court that ASP Bojang is currently sick and therefore applied for an adjournment until he recovers. The application was then granted by the magistrate.

It could be recalled that Mr Ndow is standing trial on two counts of being disobedient of statutory duty and abuse of office contrary to sections 115 and 90 of the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia.
