Algeria name squad for Banjul clash

Algeria coach Jean-Michel Cavalli has, on Monday, named a 22-man squad for vital African Nations Cup qualifier against Gambia on Sunday. Fulham striker Hameur Bouazza has been called-up for the first time since March. Also recalled were Bastia defender Mehdi Meniri, German-based midfielder Chadli Amri and striker Mansour Boutabout.

There was a first call-up for reserve goalkeeper Mohamed Lamine Zemamouche.

Algeria need to beat their west African hosts in Banjul to stand any chance of progressing to January's finals in Ghana.
