A friendly match has been proposed between The Gambia U-20’s and South Africa scheduled to take place on February 23rd 2008 in Banjul.

Seedy Kinteh, GFA President, said the match was proposed by their South African counterparts who wrote to the FA requesting a friendly encounter.

He said the FA has agreed to stage the friendly adding, “We are waiting on them to confirm the proposed friendly for February 23rd before the end of the week”.
