The most awaited volleyball Super Cup final is slated for March 24, 2008, revealed Musa Kasa Taal, President of The Gambia Volleyball Association.

The final is scheduled to take place at the Manneh Sillah memorial court in Banjul and will feature the defending champions the Interior male team who will lock horns with Gorilla of Banjul male.

Speaking to Pointsports, the President Mr. Musa Cassa Taal said Old Jeshwang should have played the final with Interior but they have been suspended for unsporting behaviour.

He said the registration for this years championship is D1000, 00.

Old Jeshwang were the runners up in the 2006 GVBA male volleyball championship.

The final will kick off at 7 pm.

In the female category, Super Cup final, which will be played earlier, Interior Female team will battle it out with Kanifing Female team at the Manneh Sillah Memorial Courts.
