The land dispute case involving Lady Njameh Jawara, Alhaji Wandipha Jawara and Abdou Magid, has been amicably resolved and settled out the court. The case was filed at the High Court by Lansana Sillah, the plaintiff.
The settlement came as a result of a unanimous consensus reached between parties to the case.
When the case resumed before Justice Haddy Roche of the Banjul High Court, the team of defence counsel, comprising Modou Drammeh, Musa Bachilly and Mariama Denton and the counsel for the plaintiff, Borry Touray informed the court that the matter is now resolved out of court and express their intention to discontinue the proceedings.
The presiding judge then registered her profound gratitude to the counsel for their cooperation in resolving the matter out of court.
However, the circumstances that led to the settlement out of court remains undisclosed.
