MJ Financial headquarters inaugurated

The new  multi-million Dalasis MJ Financial Bureau de Change situated at Williams Street in Banjul was last Friday officially inaugurated.

Welcoming customers and well wishers at the ceremony, Alhagie Morr Jobe, the proprietor of MJ Financial Bureau de Change said that the initiative to enter into such a venture was in response to President Jammeh’s call for all and sundry to contribute to national development particularly in terms of infrastructural development. According to him, the MJ Financial Bureau de Change is here to ensure easy financial transactions.
 
“MJ financial services has been providing services for the past 22 years with other wings at the Banjul NTC complex, No 7D of the Albert market, Senegambia near the Standard Chartered Bank and also at Kololi Casino and at Westfield, near the Arab Gambia Islamic Bank,” he said.

He thanked customers for patronising them and assured them that they will maintain the standard. He further thanked his family, friends, relatives, the people of Williams street and all development patners for their support.

For his part, Musa Gibril Bala Gaye, secretary of state for Finance and Economic Affairs described the new edifice as a clear testimony of true patriotism.  

SoS Gaye expressed delight at the inauguration of the new headquaters stating that it will greatly contribute in the financial sector of The Gambia.

Present at the ceremony were Bamba Saho, governor of the Central Bank, Nancy Njie, secretary of state for Tourism and Culture, Mayor Samba Faal of Banjul, and Fatou Lamin Faye, secretary of state for Basic and Secondary Education among others.
