A three-day cricket coaching course for the security personnel in the country has kicked-off at the July 22 Square in Banjul.
Organised by the Gambia Cricket Association, the training has drawn participants from the Gambia Armed Forces, the Immigration department, the Gambia Police Force, Gambia Prison Service and the Gambia Fire & Ambulance Service.
The president of the national cricket body, Mr Johnny Gomez, told Observer Sports that training is part of his association’s efforts to develop the trade of cricket in the country.
