The Reliance Financial Services will open its new branch at Barra in North Bank Region on Monday. The new branch is located opposite the ferry terminal.

According to a press release from the Reliance Headquarters along Kairaba Avenue, the subsidiary branch will offer savings and loan products. The creation of the branch reached fruition, after the opening of a similar branch in Serrekunda.

The country’s leading micro-finance institution renewed its determination to open branches nationwide in the coming months. It indicated that a minimum of D100 is required to open a regular savings account and a minimum of D500 to open an entrepreneurial account for those in business.

As of its requirement to bank with the Reliance, customers wishing to commence banking with the institution are reminded to bring along a passport size of their photos and any of the national documents, including ID card, alien card, valid passport and voters’ card.

The Reliance then implored on the public to bank with the branch and then extended invitation for the public to attend the opening ceremony.
