Nuha Badjie, a senior producer at the Gambia Radio and Television (GRTS) has been appointed Regional Manager of Radio Basse, a subsidiary of GRTS. Mr Badjie, a Chief State House Correspondent for many years replaced Lamin Ceesay who is currently in India for further studies.
Badjie is one of the longest serving employees of GRTS. He got his journalistic training both here and abroad.
His agility, dynamism and of course his good command of the English language has endeared him to many a listener and a viewer of GRTS.
According to our sources, since he assumed the stewardship as Regional Manager Radio Basse, Badjie has been making tremendous achievements , giving the Radio a new lease of life.
“Badjie is a journalist par excellence and there is no doubt that he will live up to expectation,” an insider at GRTS told this reporter.
Meanwhile, when contacted to shed light on the story, Mr Badjie could not be reached for comment as he was said to be busy in the studio.
