Mr Omar Gaye-Mbye has been appointed as the new coach for the Kanifing Municipal Council volleyball teams (male and female), as the municipality prepare for the forthcoming National Youth Conference & Festival (Nayconf).

In an interview with Observer Sports, Mr Mbye expressed his delight to lead the Kanifing Municipality side to one of the major youth events, noting that KMC will do their utmost best to clinch the championship.” Mbye will be assisted by Musa King and Mam Kewa, the two Gambian who recently returned from Cuba after a six-year studies in sports management.

The National Youth Conference & Festival (Nayconf),which is a biannual event is schedule to kick off from December 15, at Brikama in Western Region.
