Wuyeh Ceesay and Achaen Jatta, first and second defence witnesses, last Monday, gave testimonies in the burglary trial involving Vincent Badjie of Gunjur Berending before Senior Magistrate EF M’bai of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
In a short and precise testimony, Wuyeh Ceesay told the court that on the day of the incident he was with the accused in church from 7:30-9:00, but they later parted and that he never saw the accused for the rest of that day.
For his part, Achaen Jatta, the second witness told the court that he always attends the same church with the accused but never heard of his involvement in burglary until he (Mr Jatta) was called to testify.
At that juncture, Senior Magistrate M’bai adjourned the case to December 11th.
