Grade 10 student needs help

Ida Sanneh, Grade 10 student of Bottrop Senior Secondary School, Brikama is in dire need of financial assistance to continue her high education.

The 17-year-old sat to Upper Basic School Examination Certificate last year and scored aggregate 37, that earned her an entry into Bottrop Senior Secondary School .

But, according to Sanneh, she may end up a drop-out, if she does not have assistance.

“My father could only afford to pay half of my school fees. And the remaining balance is my headache. I will be very much grateful, if someone can come to my assistance, because I can’t afford to drop out of school,” Ida Sanneh told Daily Observer.

Ida’s father, Abdoulie Sanneh, who works as a vendor, said he is very much concerned about his daughter’s education, but the lack of support.

“I only wish I had the money to pay for her schools fees. I would be pleased, if someone would come to my aid,” he said.
