Saturday, March 24, has been scheduled for the graduation ceremony of another batch of students of the Gambia College, at the college’s campus in Brikama.
Confirming this in an interview with the Daily Observer, Dr Alieu Badara Senghore, Principal of the Gambia College, said the graduation ceremony will be marked with the award of certificates and prizes to students in the schools of education, agriculture, nursing and public health.
He said the college will used the occasion to also share with its partners and the public the achievements and activities of the institution.
He pointed out that learning at the college is effective, as it has conducive learning facilities, such as the library and classrooms. However, he disclosed that the College’s administration and the college council have been working diligently to ensure that funds are secured to rehabilitate the dormitories of the students.
Ahead of the graduation, Dr Senghore, urged the graduates to serve the Gambian communities and contribute their quota towards national development.
