Following a ground breaking result in President Jammeh’s traditional treatment of HIV/Aids, 62 people living with HIV/Aids have registered for the third batch to undergo the Gambian leader’s herbal treatment.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the registration exercise at the Serrekunda Hospital, Dr Tamsir Mbowe, Secretary of State for Health and social welfare said, 62 HIV patients have registered voluntarily to undergo the Gambian leader’s treatment.
“Laboratory investigation and physical examination were conducted on the patients. People should come out in their numbers for VCT. Gambians should be proud to have a leader who is successful in curing HIV/Aids for the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic years ago. Our President is no doubt the man of the century,” he said. He called on all and sundry to rally behind President Jammeh and support him in his endeavours.
