The Gambia U-20 team on Monday defeated Brikama selection 4-0 at the Brikama Mini-Stadium as part of preparation for the FIFA 2007 U-20 Youth Championship slated for Canada in June.

Abdoulie Ken Mansally first found the opener for the U-20 team in the 19th minute followed by Sainey Nyassi, Pa Modou Ngum and Modou Jagne in the 20th, 33rd and 66th minutes respectively.

Speaking to reporters after the game the head coach of the Gambia U-20, Peter Bonu Johnson, expressed his delight with the performance of the team and was quite positive that his boys would perform to expectation in Canada.

He called on Gambians to keep on praying for the team so that they can bring home the trophy.
