Tijan Colley, who was arrested in Sibanor for being found in possession of stolen goat, late last week appeared before the Brikama Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with stealing.

Colley had admitted responsibility for being found in possession of stolen she-goat thereby contravening Section 255 of the Criminal Code, Cap. IV, Vol. II of Laws of The Gambia.

Meanwhile in his plea for mitigation, Colley said he was the breadwinner of his family as he had lost both his parents.

The case now awaits judgement.
