“PTA Significant in Development of Education” – Pa Modou Bojang

The General Manager and presenter of Yinwa Development Radio Station Education Forum, Mr. Pa Modou Bojang, has said that the parent teacher association (PTA) has, in collaboration with management, boosted the development of education in The Gambia. Mr. Bojang made his comments on yesterday’s programme. Mr. Bojang revealed that the PTA plays a crucial role in the realisation of significant and quality education for the young children of this country. He commended the PTA of Kabafita Lower Basic School for their initiative in fencing the school which he said will contribute greatly to the promotion and development of education. He also hailed the management and staff of Old Jeshwang Lower Basic School for keeping their school grounds clean and tidy. He urged other schools to emulate Old Jeshwang. Mr Bojang finally appealed to donors, companies, NGO’s and individuals to come out and sponsor Yinwa Development Radio Station Education Forum. Author: By Lamin Darboe
