CART Gambia Branch Presents Gifts to Organisation

Christian Africa Relief Trust (CART) Gambia branch, a UK-based organisation, recently handed over gifts including computers, medical items, bicycles, educational materials along with a range of other items to the health sector, nursery schools, women’s groups and individuals at Burusibi.
He stated that it is among the future plans of CART to establish a garden in Sami Upper Niumi. He said the garden project aims to empower young people and women in the area by encouraging them to get involved in agriculture. Lamin Darboe, Secretary General of CART Gambia commended Ann Prince of CART UK for the wonderful work she has done for the organisation over the years. For her part, Ann Prince said CART will continue to support The Gambia.
Lamin Jawo, one of the co-founders of CART, urged the beneficiaries to put the donated items to good use. He said CART has distributed 20 containers around Africa this year alone.
