Man bags D50,000 bail bond

One Mustapha Baldeh, was on Monday, granted bail at the sum of D50,000, after pleading not guilty to charges of committing felony and stealing by Senior Magistrate Buba Jawo of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.

According to the particulars of offence, on or about August 5, 2007, at Bundung Borehole, in the Kanifing Municipality, Mustapha Baldeh broke into a shop belonging to one Juldeh Bah, with intention to commit felony therein.

Count Two states that on or about August 5, 2007, at Bundung Borehole, Mustapha Baldeh stole a bag of rice, two packets of Jumbo, two cartons of wire and a portable radio, all valued at D1,155 and belonging to Juldeh Bah.

When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty. He was then granted bail and the case was adjourned to Tuesday October 8.

Corporal 510 Touray stood in for the IGP.
