Bundung Borehole Fire Incident Results in Death

Isatou Camara, 17, yesterday succumbed to burns she suffered a fire incident in Bundung Borehole, this paper has been reliably informed. An indigene of Jarra Toniataba, Lower River Region, the late Isatou is said to be just three months into marriage with one Basiru Jobe of Bundung Borehole. Giving details of the tragedy, our sources said that the deceased was in the house with two other men when the fire started. The two however managed to escape unhurt. The cause of the fire could not be established at the time of going to press but accounts of it having started from the glow of burning incense on the one hand and faulty electric connection of a refrigerator are yet to be confirmed. According to reports, the Fire and Ambulance services were called in but the whole house was razed before they arrived. Author: By Fatou Dibba
