One Adama Gaye yesterday, appeared before magistrate B.O Jobe of Bundung magistrate court, charged with obtaining money by false pretence.

According to particulars of offence, on or about the month of February 2009 ,at Tallinding intent to defraud, obtained the sum of  five hundred and forty two thousand dalasis(542 ,000)from one Gibril Njie, for the sale of a motor vehicle No. BJL:5654F mark Suzuki grand vitara, knowing or having reasons to believe that the said vehicle is not his own.

When the charged sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty. He was bail in the  sum of 200,000 (two hundred thousand dalasis) with two Gambian sureties. The case was adjourned to the 11th June 2009.
