Caddies Golf Championship Finals will be on Monday 30th April competed for among three qualifying categories of teams in a final to be played at the Fajara golf coast.

The tournament sponsored by a Gambian born UK based is meant to see golf game as a right profession and true discipline of sport. Speaking to the Observer Sports in an exclusive interview yesterday, Mr. Bakary Njie one of the coordinators said this is the third tournament sponsored by Mark Bright, a Gambia UK-base and it aim to equip the young talented players to adopt the spirit of playing golf game.

According to him the tournament came as a result of the sponsor visit to the country last year. During his stay he came to golf coast to play with some Gambian golf players. He learnt that the players lack support and materials for the game.

Prizes for the winners are in three different categories this will encourage all the players to be more interested in becoming future golf professional players.
