Alhagie Musa Joof, Youth Mobiliser and Coordinator of the Green Boys and Girls in North Bank Region, has named her baby daughter after the First Lady Madam Zineb Yahya Jammeh.

Confirming this in a letter addressed to the first lady, Mr. Joof said the baby girl was delivered, while he was away on a pilgrimage in Mecca, under the sponsorship of President Jammeh.

Mr. Joof also used the opportunity to register his congratulation to President Jammeh’s “enormous contribution in motivating and developing Gambians and the country at large”.

He disclosed that the christening ceremony was attended by all the concerned militants of the APRC party in Farafenni.
