In its drive to complement government’s efforts in providing quality health care delivery to the people of the Gambia, the Kombo Sillah Association, a charitable Organisation founded by Gunjurians living and working in the United Kingdom last Sunday made a handsome donation of medical items to the Gunjur Health Centre, in Gunjur, Kombo South.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony of the donated items, Mr Salifu Jassey, a member of the Organisation said the donation is geared towards the development of Gunjur Health Centre. He added that his Organisation is always poised to lend a helping hand to the coastal town, urging the officials at the Health Centre to make good use of the donated items.
Receiving the items on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr Ebrima Jobe expressed appreciation to the donors for the ‘timely and generous gesture’, noting that donated items will go a long way in putting the Health Centre in good stead.
