Gunjur Health Centre in Kombo South over the weekends benefited from a donation of two solar panels from a British philanthropist, Mrs. Sinder.

Speaking in a ceremony organized to present the panels to the health centre management, Mrs. Sinder explained that the donation was part of her contribution towards quality health-care delivery in Gunjur.
She expressed her desire and readiness to continue supporting the people of Gunjur, especially in the area of health.

Mrs. Sinder also expressed hope that the donated solar panels would be put to good use.
Receiving the items on behalf of the health centre, the Chief Nursing Officer, Mr. Lamin Sarr, commended the donor for her intervention, adding that the gesture would, in no small measure, help in ameliorating some of the constraints that the health facility is faced with.

He called on others to emulate Mrs. Sinder’s gesture.
