Commences Money Transfer Business Today

In line with its commitment to ensuring “financial deepening for medium, small and micro-enterprises,” Reliance Financial Services Limited will today, 20th September 2007, commence Western Union Money Transfer services, following their appointment as the 4th Western Union Direct Agents in The Gambia.

The initiative, according to a press release from Reliance head office along Kairaba Avenue, “is in line with Reliance’s commitment towards financial deepening for the medium, small and mirco enterprises and the public at large.”

“This,” the release continues, “is in addition to Reliance’s savings and deposit products, business loans, foreign exchange and business and advisory services to the unbanked, and in the process change lives”   

Reliance thus informed the general public that it will commence Western Union Money transfer effective Thursday, 20th September 2007, following their appointment as the 4th Western Union Direct Agent in The Gambia.
