D8,870 bail for alleged thief

One Alpha Alassan Bah, was on Monday granted bail by Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, after he pleaded not guilty to charges of theft.

Alpha Alassan Bah was paraded before the court for stealing a camera valued at D5,000, a Nokia mobile phone valued at D1,450 and a cash amount of D2,515, belonging to one Fatoumata Bintou Bah, a resident of Churchill’s Town, Serrekunda Central.

Alpha Alassan Bah was granted bail at a sum of D8,870, with two Gambian sureties, one of whom must be in possession of a property valued at that  sum.
