Lawyer Antouman Gaye, Counsel for the former Accountant of Stop Step Pharmacy and Jays Electrical Holdings, who has been standing trial for allegedly stealing D0.5 million, is expected to make a no case submission, before Principal Magistrate Moses Richards of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Courts.
Lawyer Gaye made this announcement during the last sitting, after the prosecution closed its case. The trial has seen the testimonies of prosecution witnesses, including Ensa Badjie, former Officer Commanding of the Criminal Investigation Department in Kanifing Municipality.
However, the case could not continue when it resumed last week Thursday because the magistrate was indisposable.
