Man in the Dock for Robbing A Briton

One Demba Sanyang would be put on trial for allegedly robbing a Briton of £200 at Harry’s supermarket in the Kanifing municipality. The particulars of the offence, as read before magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, stated that Demba on or about 26 March 2007, robbed one William Austin of £200 but he pleaded not guilty to the charge when the charge sheet was read out to him. He is expected back in court on 13 July 2007, for hearing.
