Working with the Department for Information and Planning which is part of the Department of State for Health and Social Welfare, we are establishing a state-of-the-art resource centre. With study booths, computer/internet points, anti-shine blinds, print and copy facilities, TV/video, there will be access to:

  • 4000 health journals on line
  • Reports and information from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, DBL-Institute for Health Research and Development, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Medical Research Council Laboratories in The Gambia and other internationally recognised research institutes from across the world.
  • Text books and training manuals about health research and disease control.
  • Resources – including videos, DVDs and CDs - for health promotion, advocacy, policy development.
