Three accused persons remanded

Principal Magistrate Moses Richards of the Kanifing Magistrate’s court on Thursday ordered the remanding of Ousman Saine, Modou Jabbi and Abdourahman Cole to the remand wing of the State Central Prisons, Mile Two.

The three accused were arraigned before the court on charges of robbery contrary to the laws of The Gambia.
According to the particulars of the offense, on or about the 4th September 2007 in Serrekunda, the three accused jointly robbed Muhammed Barry of his wallet containing D1,000 and a Nokia phone valued at D1,500.

They all denied the charge. 

Magistrate Richards then adjourned the case to 13th September, 2007 and gave orders for them to be remanded in custody until the next sitting.
