As Tabara Samba’s trial adjourned Counsel Joof-Conteh is indisposed

Proceeding into the alleged murder trial of Tabara Samba last Thursday did not continued in court.

When the case was called by the Court Clerk before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, he informed the court that Amie Joof-Conteh, one of the defence lawyers of Tabara Samba is seriously sick.

According to Magistrate Jammeh, the case will now continue on Tuesday, 4th September, 2007.

He further asked both parties to exercise patient. “In fact I am suppose to go on leave, but I cannot go because of this case”, he told the court.

When the matter was called on Thursday, both the Prosecutor, Tabara Samba, the accused and Dr Ceesay of the RVTH who were called to testified were present.
