The Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC), in collaboration with Greenseeds Inc of Canada and stakeholders in the area of waste management, recently conducted a one-day training workshop on integrated municipal waste management at the KMC Head Office. The workshop was aimed at improving the quality and efficient management of waste within the Municipality.
Speaking at the occasion, Gibou Jagne, KMC interim chairman, in his opening remarks said the occasion is very significant since it is a process that will lead to a cleaner environment. Mr Jagne expressed gratitude to Greenseeds Inc for being in partnership with KMC.
