One Modou Gaye, on Wednesday  April 1st 2009, appeared at the Kanifing Magiatrates court presided over by Principal Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay, charged with stealing.

According to the particulars of the offence, Modou Gaye, on the 21st of March 2009, stole 5 bags of charcoal worth over D500 at Kanifing, being the property of one Awa Jallow.

When the charge sheet was read, he pleaded not guilty. The presiding magistrate then granted him bail in the sum of D2500. Police prosecutor 385 E. Sarr appeared for the IGP.
