Mr. Yusupha Dukureh, who is facing criminal charges of murder contrary to Section 107, Laws of The Gambia, last Tuesday pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.

According to the particulars of the offence, Mr. Yusupha Dukureh, on or about 9 December 2005, in Kololi Village, stabbed one Ousman Cham to death at the back of his neck.

When the charge sheet was read to him in the language he understands, he pleaded not guilty. Lawyer Lamin Camara represented the accused person, while Marie Saine stood in for the state.

The case was adjourned for hearing.
