The skipper of the national U-20 team, Ousman Jallow, who is trading his talent with Raja De Casablanca in the Moroccan league, arrived in the Gambia on Wednesday to join his teammates in the preparation for the World Youth Championship in Canada later this month.
Speaking to Pointsport in a telephone interview yesterday, Coach Peter Bonu Johnson said the arrival of Ous Jallow in the Gambia before their training camps in the UK and USA, is a big boost for him and the entire team.
"His presence in Banjul would allow us to have a lot of training together before leaving finally for the training Camp," said the happy Bonu Johnson.
He revealed that Ous Jallow has already joined the camp at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi.
It could be recalled that Ous Jallow was named the leading goal scorer of the 15th edition of the African Youth Championship held in Congo Brazzaville early this year.
