Sokoto FC Win Saine Unity Nooran Tourney

Sokoto FC claimed the Saine Unity Nooran Football tournament title in Lamin Village last Sunday following their victory over Parliament FC.

In a well-contested final played at the Cambodia Football field, Sokoto FC defeated Parliament FC 4-3 on post match penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw in normal time of play.

At the end of the final, Sokoto FC went away with a giant trophy and cash prize of D750, while Parliament FC were awarded cash prize of D500.

The most disciplined player award went to Babucarry Jammeh of Parliament FC and he was awarded certificate cash prize of D250.

Ismaila Sanyang of Cambodia FC was voted as the most outstanding player of the tournament. He received a certificate and cash amounting to D250.00.

The top goal scorer award went to Ebrima Bah of Parliament FC and was awarded a certificate and D250.
