Briton in Court

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

A British national domiciling in the remote Kombo South hamlet of Medina Salam was recently at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court in Western Region.

Dukular A.G. Wax Jones is seeking redress through the court in a trial premised on allegations of threats of violence.

Ms. Jones has alleged that she was violently threatened with a knife by one Yankuba Drammeh in the hamlet of Medina sometime in 2005.

According to her, Drammeh was her employee but their relationship deteriorated sometime down the line upon which she decided to give him a notice to vacate the compound.

“But he insisted on staying put and I want this court to order for his eviction from my house,” said she.

The case continues.
