In the on-going district tournament organised by the Upper Niumi Sports Committee at the Niumi Lamin football grounds.

The tournament, solely sponsored by Honourable Cherno Omar Jallow, the National Assembly member for the area, features 21 teams from the surrounding villages.

Kerr Mama (Mass Sosseh),  are leading group B with six points after beating Sameh 2-0 and Pakau Saloum 1-0 last weekend.

Kahel defeated Pakau Njogu 1-0 on Sunday and the only goal of the game was scored by Ebou Jobe in the last minute of the game.

At the weekend, Bakalarr will take on Fass Omar Saho   on Friday, while Mauda will meet Keer Decodeh on Saturday.

Kerr Demba will clash with Bakalarr on Sunday.  All weekend matches will be played at the Mamuda football field.

The winner of the tournament will go home with a giant trophy and cash prize of D7, 000 while the runners-up will receive D4, 000 with a trophy.
