The Human Resources Manager at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) has been arrested and detained by the police, the Point has gathered.

Mr. William Jarjue has been reportedly arrested since Wednesday and at the time of going to press was detained at the Kairaba Police Station.

Mr. Jarjue’s arrest and subsequent detention is said to be in connection with a complaint lodged to the police by the bank’s authorities of an alleged fraud at the bank.

Confirming the authenticity of the sources, the police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Sulayman Secka confirmed that Mr. Jarjue is, at this time, under custody at the Kairaba Police Station, helping the police in their investigations.
