Pape Diouf here for Easter

Senegalese Mbalax star, Pape Diouf will stage a one night extravaganza at the Paradise Garden hotel during the Easter long weekend, to mark the celebrations of Senegalese 45th independence.

Pape Diouf who rocked the Mbalax stage with his successful "Partir" album is set to release his 4th album soon. "I will give the fans a ‘mosal’ of my new album, so that together we can celebrate the Independence and enjoy the Easter holiday. As usual, we have a pleasant surprise for the fans and and non-fans. "The Senegalese ambassador to the Gambia, who is the event’s Chief Guest of Honour said "it is a good initiative to celebrate the Independence in The Gambia to further strengthen the excellent ties of the sisterly countries. It is a night of Senegambia and we would see Pape and his Gambian counterparts during the event."

Pape will be performing at the paradise Garden on April 7th 2007. The two leading Gambian Mbalax stars, Yusupha Ngum and Pa Omar Jack are billed for the event.
