Gambia Ports Authority beat Armed Forces 2-0 in their Wednesday’s play-off match to level with Real de Banjul on points at second position on the league table.

Ports Authority however, enjoyed a considerable goal difference over Real.
Wednesday’s match, which marked the last fixture in the first round of the GFA First Division league season, was also a tie-breaking fixture for both Armed Forces and Ports.

However, goals from Dawda Janko and Alhagi Musa in each half saw Ports Authority claimed the whole three points. The victory propelled them to joint second position as they thrill the league leaders, Wallidan, by a lone point.

The second round fixtures will resume on Saturday, May 19, 2007.
