After the Super Cup final won by Juventus FC following their 2-1 victor over Medina, the 2007 Serekunda East Nawettan championship kicked off on Tuesday August 7th, 2007.

Twenty teams namely Juventus, Culture, United Stars, Kerr-Gi, BB Rovers, Abuko United, Rangers, AC Milan, Leeds United, T. Central, TK Snookers, Eden-Borders, Late Alieu Ngum, London Celtics, Maccasa, Wales, Zurich, Gomma Link, Medina and Bantaba are lining up for the league trophy.

In the opening game on Tuesday August 7, 2007 Zurich FC defeated Bantaba 1-0.

On Thursday Kerr FC beat BB Rovers 2-1 and on Friday TK Snookers upset Maccasa 1-0.

Saturday August 11,2007 Gamma Link collected the three points against Wales 1-0 and in the same day Eden- Border drew 0-0 with London Celtics.
