The second edition of C.A Jagne memorial draught championship held at the Manneh Sillah Memorial Court between March 21 and March 23, has been described by the organisers - The Gambia Draught Federation - as a resounding success.

Fifty-five participants from over fifteen draught clubs took part in the three-day competition that saw Serrekunda London Corner club representative, Almamy Camara, defended his title, and in effect, earned himself a handsome cash prize of D5000 and a certificate.

Bakau Sanchaba’s Ebrima Bah claimed the second position and walked home with D2500, while Bara Njie of Brazil club finished third.

While thanking the participants for their participation, the draught federation also heaped praises on Momodou Ceesay of The Gambia Horticultural Enterprise (G.H.E), for sponsoring the championship and the Jagne family for their incessant support.
