GEPADG/ SSSS Embark on Tree Planting Exercise

Gunjur Environmental Development and Protection Group (GEPADG) in conjunction with students of Siffoe Senior Secondary School recently embarked on a tree-planting exercise at Siffoe Senior Secondary School in Kombo South. In an interview with this paper, Mr. Badara Njie Bajo, Executive Director of GEPADG, stressed the importance of trees to human life, noting that they do not only help in enhancing the beauty of the environment but also encourages afforestation. He therefore called on other schools to emulate Siffoe Senior Secondary School. For his part, the Principal of Siffoe Senior, Mr. Sarjo Jobe, commended GEPADG for making giant strides in planting trees across the Western Region.
