Mr. Mamudou Max Jallow a Gambian student studying in the United Kindom has commended Mr. Musa B. Suso founder of Susso promotional Foundation for his strong come back in the social development of the country. Mr. Suso, he said, is well known as a man of the people, dynamic youth leader and a politician who won the minds of thousands of Gambians for his active involvement in politics particularly Kombo North. “However, I wish to commend His Excellency President Jammeh for making Musa’s come back worthwhile. The creation of Suso Promotional Foundation in Sukuta is making gateway for social advancement and poverty alleviation in The Gambia. The inauguration of Suso Foundation in Sukuta inspired many youths in the country and abroad.

In making poverty a history in The Gambia, The Gambian youths need to be well informed about their rights and be made self reliant, thus enabling them take up the responsibility to design the developmental needs of the country as well as work hard to achieve their goal.” He said.

In a press statement sent to this paper recently, Mr Jallow described, the Suso Foundation as a unique foundation that can be used to create awareness in our beloved country irrespective of political affiliation, gender, race, religion or region.

He reckons the foundation should be set up in every Town or Village to create awareness among the youths and urge them to come up with projects that would benefit their communities.

Below is an excerpt of his statement “I strongly believe that any community that organises itself will always win the mind of Government much more. Mr. Suso is working day and night to ensure Gambian youths achieve their goal. The respective foundations in the country would embark on different projects and activities according to the dynamic Suso. The Youths in the rural area would be provided training on animal husbandry, modern farming technology, horticulture as well as business.

Indeed I wish to suggest the Suso foundation to set up a board that would supervise all Suso foundations in the country to ensure funds raise and mend for social development are not diverted in to personal use. It is no doubt the foundation shall contribute to government efforts in promoting social advancement.
