For Allegedly Cutting Off Ear

A Tabokoto man, Lamin Camara, is expected to undergo trial for allegedly cutting off one of the ears of one Sulayman Sarjo.

Lamin was sometime this month arraigned before magistrate J. George at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with assault and battery.

According to court records, Lamin, in September of this year, bit Sulayman on the ear thereby cutting it off.

Having heard the facts, which were read and interpreted to him in the language he claimed to have understood, Lamin pleaded not guilty to the charge and was consequently given bail at the sum of D10,000 as the case progresses.
