Three Gambian Women Elevated to High Court Judges

Reliable judicial sources have informed this paper that three Gambian ladies have been elevated to the position of High Court judges. The ladies are Na Wadda-Ceesay, former acting Solicitor-General at the Attorney-General’s Chambers; Mrs Ngui Mboob-Janneh, former Judicial Secretary and Mrs Safiatou Njai, former Master of the High Court.

According to our sources, the appointment of the trio to the exalted positions is with immediate effect.

Meanwhile Haruna Jaiteh, Deputy Judicial Secretary, has been appointed acting Judicial Secretary while the post of Master of the High Court is yet to be filled, our sources revealed.
