TLBS wins NEA trophy![]() Sunday, June 17, 2007 Tallinding Proper Lower Basic School, on Thursday June 7th, 2007, emerged as the winner of the National Environment Agency annual quiz competition from among eight schools. The competition was organised by the National Environment Agency as part of the celebration of World Environment Day themed ‘melting ice, a hot topic’. Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of the Director, Bully Dibba, Director of Finance and Administration, at the NEA told the gathering that the quiz competition is annually organised to see what children have been doing in their schools. He further noted that children need to be protected and trained on how to take care of the environment because they are the future leaders of tomorrow. He further commended the organisers of the competition for their great initiative and then urged the students to read their books.
