Reports reaching this paper intimate that a 22-year-old man was on Thursday, December 23, 2007 stabbed to death in the early hours of the morning at Wellingara, Kombo North.

Abdoulie Ceesay, son of Ebou Baba Ceesay and Adama Sey, was reportedly stabbed to death at Wellingara Bantaba by one Mustapha Marra, alias 50 Cent, who has since been arrested by the police. He is said to be helping the police in their investigation into the matter.

The late Abdoulie Ceesay was reported to have been laid to rest on Friday in Wellingara.
